I’ve been seeing these neckties re-emerge in stores over the last little while and truthfully, I didn’t really think too much about getting one. But then my style-nerd friend Humara (from www.humarakausar.com – check her out!) suggested I try to make it…and honestly, I love it. I think it’s so sophisticated & timeless.

…Would you rock it?

Anyhow, needless to say…now that I’ve learned how to make them, I probably will never buy one. Ever.

Here’s the how-to:

Fabric: Crepe | Length: 40″ | Width: 4.5″

Step 1: Fold.
Step 2: Clip the ends on an angle.
Step 3: Stitch all sides except on the fold. Leave 1″-2″ open in the middle.
Step 4: Turn it inside out through the opening. (technically, it’s outside in – because the seams have to go inside, but you get the idea)
Step 5: Iron.

Easy Peasy.
