This is a quick tutorial on how to sew a rolled hem with a regular presser foot.

You can use a rolled hem presser foot if you have one available, but in case you don’t, this is a really easy way to do it as well.

  1. Make a very small fold at the edge of your fabric.
  2. Sew a straight stitch as close as possible to the edge of the fold.
  3. Fold the edge twice – the second fold hides the first stitch.
  4. Stitch close to the edge of the new fold.
  5. fin.
