Hi everyone! It’s been some time since I’ve last posted but I’m back and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been up to! But let’s start with this project, which originally began as shorts. I was hoping to make a casual and comfy pair to wear at home, but it as I was making them, I thought it would look better as a romper. So I quickly self-drafted the top with barely any material left. You see, I only bought 0.5 meter of this awesome Melange Knit Chambray from Fabricland…

“But why would you buy only half a meter of fabric?” – says Everyone

Well, because I was having a major brain fart: I was making another shirt and underestimated how much I needed for THAT project. So I went back to buy more material and ended up buying it in the wrong colour. Friends…the frustration was real. Merp…

BUT! It all worked out for the best because what started out as a random pair shorts ended up as The Blue Romper and I’m in love with it!
