In my quest for more “regular” things to wear, I decided to knock out a cool pair of blue joggers to wear…well, everywhere:

  • home
  • the mall
  • grocery store
  • for ice cream
  • to work

…you get the idea. And yes, I can sport this in the world of film & tv!

While this was a really simple make, I have to admit that I made one  small medium-sized mistake. Even though this fabric has a two way stretch, it definitely stretches in one direction more than the other but I cut the pants with the stretch going length wise instead of width. Womp womp! I can’t lie, cutting fabric is usually the hardest part for me. You know that ol’ saying, “measure twice, cut once”? In my case it’s “measure 4x, cut once and still get it wrong” #ugh.

I don’t always cut wrong, but when I do, I usually re-cut the entire thing until I get it perfect. But this time, I decided to leave it as is because it still had some stretch. Truth: The joggers are comfortable, but I think I would have liked it just a tad more if the stretch was going the right way, ya dig?
